I have come across 2 different very common Dell models that get the error "No Ethernet Adapters Were Found On This Machine" when clicking on Network Configuration.  Both of these models work fine with the 2nd Quarter Release.  They both have a Broadcom 570xx Onboard Nic.  We restore and save images from a network share.  Has anyone else had NIC problems with 3rd Quarter Release?  The Broadcom 570xx is a very common NIC.

I have the same issue with dell precision 390

Ive seen this on Hp laptops, and some IBM servers.. The Q3 release is buggy as hell..

Some of these machines i have quite happily used previous releases on fine.

I'm hearin' ya.  We opted to update the Vista-based environment to be based on Vista SP1 (in the past it's be based on Vista SP0) and it appears that some of the driver support has been shuffled a bit.  I'll bring it up with our build guys so that they'll tack in those drivers that you mention are missing.  Thanks for the info guys.

Do we have to wait for the next quarter release ?

What to do if we need a restore in the meantime ?

You can contact support 'aht' storagecraft 'doht' com to get an ISO that's corrected for that issue.

As you know I am also reseller.

I contacted Sales and they told me there is no new ISO.

The good file is ENU_IT_ShadowProtect3.x_Q3_2008_R4.zip.  I'll see if I can find someone who can help you directly on this (and have them email you).

Is it possible to get this ISO? We only have the 3rd quarter release and we need to use it on an IBM server which reports the same issue.

 Nate that ISO did not fix the problem. We are stuck and support has not been helpful at all. What are our options? We are feeling a little stung here cause we dropped 3500 dollars on this product and it is no longer working.

Are you sure you are using the R4 edition?  The issue was that the first release of Q3 IT Edition was based on Vista SP1.  This caused many more problems than it fixed, so we reverted the build back to the same build as Q2 which was based on Vista with no service pack.

Please verify that you are using the R4 build.  If you are receiving and error message. Please post exactly what it is and exactly the model of the NIC that is not being recognized.
