I've heard one other report of this (or perhaps it was your same report, via another route - I'll have to double-check).  We're releasing a new build any day now with several fixes and I'd like to see if it resolves your issue.  If it doesn't, then we'll need to work with you on an individual basis, if you're willing, because we've never seen this ourselves and it's difficult to fix an issue if you can't repro.

Please contact support and obtain the ENU_IT_ShadowProtect3.x_Q3_2008_R4.zip IT Edition build which resolves this issue.
