    Timslots within CD files

    Hi,

I could  be wrong here, but I was under the impression that within a CD file when using imagemanager, you could still extract data from within different timeslots thorughout the day.

For example if we backup a drive every 15 minutes, once the files become daily, weekly and eventually monthly files, can we go back to any 15 minute time slot since the initial backup?

     Cheers,

    Chris

ImageManager reduces the required storage by collapsing intra-daily's into dailys and removing the extra data required to represent each point in time. So a collapsed daily only represents the point in time that it was collapse from.  With our current technology each point in time is represented by a file or in other words, each file can only represent a point in time.

    Hope this answers your question.
