    Recovery DVD will not boot

I created the ISO recovery DVD using PowerISO.   However, the DVD does not boot.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks.

I've never heard of PowerISO, but assuming you've created a bootable DVD, have you set the proper boot sequence in the BIOS?

Try to write a CD not a DVD. Does that work? Other than that why not try cdburnerxp or similar freeware to burn the ISO. Write in disk at once mode when possible. Do other bootable CDs like a windows install CDs boot?

fixed.  There is an option on PowerISO to write an image file.

    Hi,

Did the PowerISO  file say bootable in the lower left corner?

II not, you need to add a boot image file to the ISO.
