    Unmountable_Boot_Volume SP 3.2 Vista 32 Sp1

New, never used Dell Inspiron 1525 notebook, Vista home 32bit version, Sp1, updated to the last bit.

Installed evaluation version of SP 3.2, rebooted:

    Stop Error 0xED, Unmountable_Boot_Volume.

Didn't restore a previous configuration, just booted my BartPe, and moved stcvsm.sys to a temporary folder.

    Rebooted: Everything is OK.

    What's the matter here?

    Michael,

That is very strange.  Could you please post the Stop Error with all of its parameters (all the numbers in parenthesis after the 0x000000ED), or at least the first two?

Im sorry, but I allready dumped Vsta and installed XP (sp3) on that machine so the BSOD is gone.

    Michel

Well, alright then.  :)  Glad you got it up and running.
