I have 4 x 500GB hard drives... 3 internal and one external unit connected via USB. The first of the internal HDs has three logical partitions, C: (O/S and application software); D: Data files; and E: (Audio / video files). The second and third internal physical units are used for backups and work areas. The external HD is for backups only.
I would like to set up a schedule to perform full weekly backups (say Saturday evening at 6:00PM) and daily incrementals (6:00PM Sunday through Friday) with the resulting images stored on the internal hard drive(s).
I would also like to set up a monthly schedule (say 1st of the month at 9:00PM) to perform a full backup (no incrementals) storing the resulting image on the external USB drive. I realize that the 1st of the month (or any day for that matter) can be a Saturday and thus the reason for selecting a time that would not conflict with the weekly schedule.
Can anyone see any potential problems with these multiple schedules?
