I would strat by trying to make sure you have a compatible NIC driver. I don't want to labor the point but.....
From the message above:
FTTester:You need to load a Vista 32-bit NIC driver
From original message I posted:
FTTester:you need to load the Vista 32-bit driver, rather than any DOS driver. In some cases, you might be lucky and have a Win7 driver work with Vista, many times not.
If the manufacturer of the PC/laptop does not have a Vista driver, you can check the website of the chipset manufacturer (Intel. Realtek etc.) and see if they have a suitable driver. After loading a driver, use the network tool to restart/start the network connection. Make sure that the DHCP and other settings are correct. To test the network and doublecheck that the NIC driver is loaded, you can use the command line tool (cmd) and type the normal ipconfig /all. You can start the cmd tool by using the file browser tool to navigate to the cmd.exe executable in the SP RE. There are a number of posts on how to do that if you need more information.
