My computer shutdown's are hanging up again so I've been studying the logs in the Vista Event Viewer. I've found a bunch of these warnings generated when the Vista OS Service Control Manager goes to launch ShadowProtect and it says a different process is connecting instead. Here's the exact text in the log:
"A service process other than the one launched by the Service Control Manager connected when starting the ShadowProtect Service service. The Service Control Manager launched process 2704 and process 2712 connected instead.
Note that if this service is configured to start under a debugger, this behavior is expected."
Does anyone know what the hell is going on here...? Thanks.
