can anyone give me a comparison of ShadowProtect vs Acronis TrueImage?

I read about ShadowProtect in PC Magazine; my concern with TrueImage (has worked well) is it is becoming bloated with newer features

I'd just like a general comparison of features, reliablility.

Try the search button because just couple days ago someone posted his experiences. Bloat, instability with busy systems, Linux boot CD (you need to buy upgrade once support for newer hardware is required), poor user support, poor update mentality, no polished HIR, no walk-up-and-Backup like IT edition, slower compression and overall performance, incremental engine inferior, ..... I admit my knowledge about their products is from early 2007. Using the free trial is recommended.
 

 It all depends on your OS and hardware. Acronis works well with some configs and fails miserably with others. The same can be said for ShadowProtect. ShadowProtect smokes Acronis on my main rig...

I blame the failure on the DFI board. Their mobos are too finicky about everything.  Trial both and use what works best. ;-)
