It is possible that the machine is running on only one of the processors. You can check that with Task Manager...

Unable to install network adaptors - Broadcom NetXtreme2

There's always a simple solution. And it's always nice to make progress. Yep, HIR needs to follow the restore. Even if you forget to run HIR as part of the restore process, you can still run it when the restore has completed. So ShadowProtect worked fine for the HIR restore. A summary (for others...
