    Hi Yeah, DevCon is really handy to get the Hardware ID for the device in question. You can then use that ID to help identify a driver and/or even hack an existing driver INF file to include that Hardware ID (and therefore force Windows to load a driver if you did not have a suitable inf file to hand...

    Did the driver come with an OEM file and a separate sub-directory with the INF and SYS file? There's a chance that the driver is using a slightly odd install method that HIR cannot handle. You'd probably have a similar problem loading the driver into WinPE or BartPE (i.e. you'd have to massage...
