HIR Restore - ShadowProtect not installed on server

HI please could someone clarify if we will be able to succesfully perform a HIR Restore from an image that was created in the Recovery CD only? ShadowProtect was not installed on the server, the hardware is different. Thanks.

HP G6 series hardware and HIR

Has anyone had any experience using IT Edition on the HP G6 hardware? Does HIR work or do we need to load drivers?

Lower the rank, the better a match is for the device. A rank of zero is the best match. With things like this, it is often better to just check Microsoft's MSDN pages. Hi Yeah, DevCon is really handy to get the Hardware ID for the device in question. You can then use that ID to help identify a driver and/or even hack an existing driver INF file to include that Hardware ID (and therefore force Windows to load a driver if you did not have a suitable inf file to hand...
